Shadforth Civil Pty Ltd secures Stage 2

Queensland company Shadforth Civil Pty Ltd has been awarded the $8.7 million (GST Inclusive) civil and electrical contract for stage two works of the Songbird, Oxley development.

It is expected civil works will begin in July 2022 and include the provision of necessary infrastructure – earthworks, internal and external road construction and upgrades, drainage, water, sewer, electrical and communications services – to allow for the construction of 48 residential lots.

Stage 2 will also include the development of a 1.8 hectare (ha) public recreation park, remediation and stabilisation works in the 1.29 ha eastern hillside area, creation of a 3,487 square metre pocket park and rehabilitation and construction of informal tracks in the 3.45 ha conservation open space area.

Shadforth will continue their practice of issuing regular construction updates and supplying letterbox drop updates to those residents located along Seventeen Mile Rocks Road, Fort Road, Blackheath Road and Cliveden Avenue. Read Shadforth’s latest community update for further details.
