Oxley Aged Care Precinct Development Application

In September 2018, Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) called for Registrations of Interest for the delivery of a residential retirement and aged-care precinct within the Oxley Priority Development Area (PDA). EDQ has sought interest from the market for the sale and delivery of a retirement village, independent living, aged-care facility, or a combination of these on a 1.6 -hectare approximate parcel of land in the 19-hectare PDA. Subsequently, EDQ is now in final negotiations with the proponents for this proposed precinct.

The proponent of the aged care precinct lodged a development application (DA) on 25 June 2021 with a “properly made” notice letter issued on 27 July 2021, meaning the public was able to view the DA and supporting documentation from this date.
