Development partner and demolition tenders released

Tenders have now opened for the Yeronga Priority Development Area (PDA), with the state government releasing a development partner expression of interest and a demolition tender to kick start the urban renewal of the site.

Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning Cameron Dick said he strongly encouraged the private sector to get involved in this exciting opportunity to work with the state government’s specialist land use planning and property development unit, Economic Development Queensland (EDQ).

“Preparation works including the removal of any asbestos materials and service disconnections will be planned and managed with the utmost care and safety on the site prior to demolition”, said Mr Dick.
