Community groups shortlisted to co-locate with Yeronga Community Centre

After a comprehensive expressions of interest process, EDQ has shortlisted three community interest groups to co-locate with the Yeronga Community Centre (YCC) within the Yeronga Priority Development Area (PDA).

The shortlisted proponents include Children’s Health Queensland (Kids In Mind), Annerley-Stephens History Group Inc. and All Gauge Model Railway Club Inc. and all offer services complimentary to, and consistent with the objectives of the Yeronga Community Centre.

EDQ ran a comprehensive EOI process to explore what opportunities existed to maximise the benefits for not only the YCC through planned co-location of other organisations, but also for the greater Yeronga community in terms of better service delivery.

The next step in the process will see the three shortlisted proponents participate in developing the overarching vision for the co-located facilities in the context and setting of the new Yeronga Community Centre.
