Consultation has concluded

The draft Reconfiguring a Lot (RaL) code is a set of contemporary subdivision standards to achieve good urban design and attractive, accessible and safe neighbourhoods.

The Queensland Government has prepared the RaL code, which complements the Queensland Housing Code, and when applied together they streamline the approvals process.

Together, the codes allow for a variety of lot sizes and housing types to accommodate the changing needs of Queensland households.

Our goal is to provide best practice residential subdivision standards, to streamline processes and support diverse communities and affordable housing options.
