For 100 years the wharves at Hamilton were the place Queensland exported its best to the world. Now Northshore Brisbane operates a different shipping schedule. Just six kilometres from the CBD you'll find luxury river homes and apartments fit for a captain, a hub of experiential arts and cultural experiences you'll want to write home about, and some of the most exciting cuisines in the world. This iconic stretch of water is transforming from working dock, into Brisbane's immersive riverfront.

Northshore Brisbane is also a new business district, a hub of business innovation, from start-ups to global giants.

Lastly, Northshore Brisbane has been identified as the home of the Brisbane Athletes' Village for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Northshore Brisbane's prime waterfront location and its proximity to the CBD, competition and training venues, and transport connections makes it an ideal location to host over 10,000 athletes and team officials for the Olympic Games and over 5,000 athletes and team officials for the Paralympics.

As many of you are aware there has been a lot of activity happening at the Hercules Street Park site in the last six months.

The work already undertaken is called ‘early works’ and included bulk earthworks, major drainage and relocation of trees.

At this point in time we have released a tender to find a contractor to undertake the remainder of the park upgrade. Once the contractor is appointed you will then see further activity on site.

We have included an up to date timeline on the right hand side of this website and we will continue to update the community as we progress with the park upgrade.

Please make sure you have registered on the Have your say website to receive updates on the all that is happening around the Northshore precinct.
